Swissbakers Closes Boston Public Market Location; Nashua Street, Others Remain in Operation

A small local group of bakery-cafes has closed one of its locations in downtown Boston, though a nearby outlet--and its other three shops--continue to be open for business.

According to a message from The Passionate Foodie, Swissbakers at the Boston Public Market has shuttered, with a message from the business confirming that it indeed decided not to renew its lease there, instead focusing on its new location at 1 Nashua Street by North Station and TD Garden. Swissbakers--which offers soups, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods with Swiss influences--has outlets in Reading, Allston, and Cambridge's Harvard Square as well as the new North Station location, and they can also be found at various farmers markets in the region.

The website for Swissbakers is at https://swissbakers.com/
