A Watertown restaurant that features Nepali and Indian fare is moving to a nearby space where a Pan-Asian spot had been.
According to several sources, including a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Chulo Restaurant and Bar is moving from Spring Street to Waverly Street, taking over the former Asiana Fusion space. A Facebook page for Chulo actually includes Asiana Fusion in the name, and a comment indicates that some of the "top selling appetizers" from that place will apparently be on Chulo's menu as well. An opening date for Chulo's new location has not been given as of yet, but it appears that it could be debuting any day now.
Chulo had formerly been in a space above Molana, a Persian restaurant in the center of town.
The address for the new location of Chulo Restaurant and Bar is 1 Waverley Avenue, Watertown, MA, 02472. Its website can be found at https://www.chulocuisine.com/
[November 7 update: A Facebook post from the place indicates that Chulo Restaurant and Bar is now open in the former Asiana Fusion space. (Thanks to a source for bringing this to our attention.)]
