A Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant that also included a market area has very quietly shut down.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, The Loading Dock in Belmont has closed its doors, with a sign out front thanking customers for their business (a check on the Brighton Street space this morning also confirms that it is shuttered). The place first opened in 2016, offering such items as shakshuka, lentil soup, lamb burgers, hummus, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, chicken shawarma, kofta, beef kebabs, wine, and more.
The address for this now-closed restaurant in Belmont was: The Loading Dock, 11 Brighton Street, Belmont, MA, 02478.
