Revelry to Open in Waltham

A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that a Cuban restaurant in Waltham was planning to move to a new location, and now we have learned that a familiar name will be taking over its soon-to-be-vacated space.

According to an article in the Patch, Revelry is opening on Main Street, moving into the space where Gustazo Cuban Cafe resides until it moves to the former Garcia Brogan's space on Moody Street. The post mentions that this is indeed the same Revelry whose truck is often set up at the soon-to-close Coppersmith in South Boston--and Coppersmith owner Gerry Curtin is behind the opening of what will apparently be a brick-and-mortar version of the truck, which means it could be a Cajun/New Orleans-style restaurant.

Coppersmith plans to close early next month, as a life sciences development is being built at its site.

The address for the upcoming location of Revelry is 663 Main Street, Waltham, MA, 02451. The website for the food truck is at http://www.revelryboston.com/
