Dig Inn Plans to Open in Cambridge's Kendall Square

A New York City-based group of "farm-to-counter" restaurants is planning to expand once again into the Boston area, with another Cambridge outlet apparently in the works.

According to a licensing commission hearing agenda page, Dig Inn is looking to open in Kendall Square, with the notice indicating that the upcoming eatery could have seating for 40 indoors and an additional 14 on a seasonal patio, and that it hopes to acquire a full liquor license. If approved, the new location of Dig Inn would join others in Boston's Fort Point Neighborhood, the Prudential Center, Downtown Crossing, and Copley Square--and as mentioned in an earlier article, another outlet is coming to Cambridge's Harvard Square as well.

Dig Inn is known for its "market bowls" that have a grain or salad base with items such as chicken, beef, and salmon added.

The address for the proposed location of Dig Inn in Kendall Square would be One Broadway, Cambridge, MA, 02142. The website for all locations is at https://www.diginn.com/
