A bubble tea chain with a handful of locations in the Greater Boston area opening a new shop in one of the busiest parts of Cambridge.
According to a source (Geoff Wong), Kung Fu Tea is going to open in Harvard Square, with the Instagram page for the business confirming this, saying that its new outlet will be on Mass. Ave. and that its grand opening will be taking place on Friday, January 31. (Another source tells us that it was going through a soft opening during the week, which was also confirmed by its Instagram page.) Once it opens, the new location of the bubble tea shop will join a number of others in the local area including in Boston's Chinatown, the Symphony Hall area, Packard's Corner, Allston, Cleveland Circle, Somerville, Malden, Waltham, Quincy, Braintree, and Natick.
Kung Fu Tea is known for such items as classic tea, milk tea, slush, punch, and yogurt.
The address for the new location of Kung Fu Tea in Harvard Square is 1160 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA, 02138. The website for the chain can be found at https://www.kungfutea.com/
