SOJUba to Move into Tony C's Space in Boston's Fenway Neighborhood

A small dining spot in the Fenway section of Boston is about to become a much bigger spot, as it is moving to a nearby space where a popular restaurant and sports bar had been.

Eater Boston is reporting (via a tweet from @teddyballgame83 and a Facebook post from the place) that SOJUba is going to move across Boylston Street to the former Tony C's space, with the post saying that "We've been working on this deal with the Red Sox & TONY C's for quite some time....This super upgrade means that we will have 3X the space at 16,000 sq ft of [dining] & roof top facing the Fenway park, 3X the lights, 3X the sound, 3X the TV & 10X more SOJU! Also, with this upgrade, we will have separate lunch hours, adding fresh food menu items with over 50 new cocktails." An exact closing date for the current location of SOJUba is not yet known, nor has an opening date been given for the new location, so keep checking back for updates.

SOJUba debuted in September of 2017, featuring a variety of Korean dishes as well as beer, wine, and cocktails.

Tony C's first opened its Fenway location in April of 2016, taking over the space where a location of Jerry Remy's Sports Bar & Grill had been; the restaurant and bar closed down this past December, with other locations in the Seaport District, Burlington, Peabody, and Somerville remaining in operation.

The current address for SOJUba is 1260 Boylston Street while the new address will be 1265 Boylston Street. Its website can be found at http://www.sojubaboston.com/
