Blue Bottle Coffee Is Opening at The Street Chestnut Hill

It looks like a California-based coffee roaster is opening another new outlet in the Greater Boston area, and this one would be coming to a development a few miles west of the city.

A message sent by Leah Klein of City Living Boston indicates that Blue Bottle Coffee is planning to open at The Street Chestnut Hill, with a picture showing signage up at a storefront there along with a "Coming Soon" sign. Once it opens, the new location would join other cafes from the company in downtown Boston, the Back Bay, the Prudential Center, and Harvard Square and Kendall Square in Cambridge.

Blue Bottle Coffee, which is based in Oakland, is considered part of the "third-wave" of specialty coffee shops that focus on high-quality beans. The website for the company is at https://bluebottlecoffee.com/

[February 2, 2021 update: A Twitter post from @ccmckenzie confirms that Blue Bottle Coffee is indeed on its way to Chestnut Hill, with the website for the company now listing the location and saying that it is coming soon.]

[February 19, 2021 update: A press release states that the new location of Blue Bottle Coffee in Chestnut Hill is now open.]
