Blue Hills Grille in Canton Is Closing for Good

An upscale comfort food spot that gets its name from a massive state park across the street is getting ready to shut down permanently.

According to a source, Blue Hills Grille in Canton is closing its doors, with a Facebook post from the Washington Street spot saying that "We will be closing our doors this Monday the 29th We hope to use this last week to say goodbye to our friends, regulars and staff that have allowed us to serve countless cocktails and dinners to the great communities that we have had the opportunity of taking care of." It is not known if the COVID-19 pandemic played a direct role in their decision to close; they had been offering takeout/delivery during the outbreak, and outdoor dining of late as well.

Blue Hills Grille first opened in the fall of 2014, taking over the space near the Canton/Milton border that had been home to the Suffolk Grille.

The address for The Blue Hills Grille is 2790 Washington Street (Route 138), Canton, MA, 02021.

[June 28 update: The Facebook page for Blue Hills Grille indicates that today was its last day in operation.]
