Moon & Flower House Is Replacing Boom Crispy Chicken in Boston's Chinatown

It looks like a group of restaurants based in New York City is opening a second location in Boston.

According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Retaurants Facebook group page who posted a picture of the storefront, Moon & Flower House is planning to open in Chinatown, taking over the Boom Crispy Chicken space on Kneeland Street. Once it opens, the new eatery will join another location on Brighton Avenue in Allston along with other outlets in Brooklyn and Queens, and based on the menus at the other restaurants, expect to see such items as fried chicken sandwiches, burgers, breaded shrimp sandwiches, popcorn chicken, squid rings, and more.

Boom Crispy Chicken first opened in Chinatown in September of 2008, taking over the space where The Little Kitchen had been.

The address for the new Moon & Flower House in Chinatown is 22 Kneeland Street, Boston, MA, 02111.

[October 12 update: Based on a DoorDash page for the place, it appears that Moon & Flower House is now open in Chinatown.]
