A seafood spot and market that resided in a North Shore town with few dining options has closed after only a year in business.
A tweet from @wtfdic_hour mentions (via a Facebook post from the Boston's Wicked North Shore Facebook page) that Nahant Fish & Lobster is no longer in operation, with a Facebook post from the Nahant Road place confirming this, saying that "Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have decided to close permanently." It is not known exactly why the business shuttered, nor is it known what might become of the space, so keep checking back for updates.
Nahant Fish & Lobster first opened last September, being a takeout spot that offered a variety of raw and cooked seafood items along with ready-to-eat meals such as clam chowder, tuna burgers, lobster rolls, haddock sandwiches, and more.
The address for this now-closed dining spot and market in Nahant was: Nahant Fish & Lobster, 157 Nahant Road, Nahant, MA, 01908.
