A new Cajun seafood spot has replaced a three-year-old Chinese-American buffet place in a Boston neighborhood.
Universal Hub is reporting (via Lisa Beatman in the Keep Roslindale Quirky Facebook group page) that Cajun Crab Shack is now open in the old Flaming Grill & Buffet space on American Legion Highway in Roslindale, with the menu for the new spot showing such items as hush puppies, crabmeat fries, lobster tails, fried catfish, fried flounder, po' boys, and a variety of seafood boil options. Sources tell us that locations of Flaming Grill & Buffet in Malden and Revere may be changing over to Cajun Crab Shack as well, though we are still trying to confirm this.
Flaming Grill & Buffet first opened in Roslindale in the spring of 2017.
The address for Cajun Crab Shack is 950 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA, 02131. Its website can be found at https://cajuncrabshackma.com/
[November 6 update: We have received confirmation from sources that Flaming Grill & Buffet in Malden and Revere are indeed becoming outlets of Cajun Crab Shack.]
