Blue Coyote Grille in Maynard Is Closing Permanently

A longtime local fave in the western suburbs for comfort food is shutting down.

According to a source, Blue Coyote Grille in Maynard is closing for good, with a Facebook post from the Main Street spot saying the following:

Well, Maynard, Thank you. Some news leaked out before I had the chance to make the announcement. I apologize to those that heard it elsewhere. We will be closing on December 20th, 2020 after a decade run at 137 Main Street. We will be open this week from Wednesday through Sunday 5-9PM so please come and say goodbye to your favorite staff....Thank you from the bottom of my heart and support local businesses this Holiday!

The post also indicates that Tryst in Arlington, which has an ownership connection to Blue Coyote Grille, will remain in operation, with Taek-Soo Kim (who wrote the post) saying that "You can still find me at Tryst restaurant...or you can always call me for anything."

Blue Coyote Grille, which has been in business for nearly 20 years, is known for its rustic atmosphere along with such options as wings, nachos, steak tips, pulled pork quesadillas, and burgers, along with various entrees that they had offered before the pandemic hit.

The address for Blue Coyote Grille is 137 Main Street, Maynard, MA, 01754. The website for the place can be found at https://www.bluecoyotegrillema.com/
