Another decades-old Chinese restaurant is calling it a day.
According to several sources who have gotten in touch with us over the past few weeks, China Roma in Revere is getting ready to close its doors. An article from the Revere Journal talks about the closing of the Broadway eatery, saying that the City Council honored owners Paul and RoseAnne Musto (who are retiring) and their family a couple of weeks ago while the post also mentions that a Peruvian dining spot plans to open in its space. (The article says that the Musto family has run China Roma for 65 years.)
China Roma's closing comes on the heels of China Moon in Stoneham shutting down earlier this month, with that place being in business for nearly 70 years.
The address for China Roma is 258 Broadway, Revere, MA, 02151.
[December 30 update: A couple of posters on the North Shore Eats Facebook group page indicate that China Roma may be looking to close around mid to late January, with one of the posters saying that this was confirmed in a phone call to the place.]
[January 15, 2021 update: According to a source, China Roma is now closed.]
