A couple of years ago, it was reported that a hospitality group that was behind a restaurant and rooftop bar in Providence was planning to open new spots in both Brockton and Plymouth, and while the Brockton plans have since fallen through, the Plymouth location could soon be opening its doors.
According to a source, G Pub is hoping to open in the Village West Shopping Center this spring, with a Boston Globe article indicating that the new spot could be debuting "May-ish." The Globe article mentions that the new G Pub will include a dining area and bar with booths and high-top tables in the front, a gaming area with foosball, ping pong tables, and pool in the middle, and a speakeasy-style lounge in the back--and that the menu will include seasonal, locally-sourced dishes as well as beers from local breweries.
Both the Providence location of G Pub and Sarto (which is another spot from G Hospitality) are closed for the time being due to the pandemic.

[October 13 update: A Facebook comment indicates that the Plymouth location of G Pub opens tomorrow (Thursday, October 14).]
