Beard Papa's in Boston's Chinatown Is Going on the Auction Block

It looks like the downtown Boston location of a chain of cream puff shops with roots in Japan may be gone for good.

According to a Tweet from @EFSmithandSon, an online auction is taking place for Beard Papa's in Chinatown, with a post on the auction mentioning that it is a "tax seizure sale" and that the bidding goes from March 8 to March 11. Beard Papa's first opened on Harrison Avenue in 2015, offering an array of cream puffs including ones topped with oreo cookies, green tea, chocolate, honey butter, and more, with fillings including chocolate, vanilla, and green tea.

The address for the Chinatown location of Beard Papa's was 31 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA, 02111. The address for the chain can be found at https://www.beardpapas.com/
