A new restaurant appears to be on its way to Chinatown, and it will be taking over the space where a barbecue spot had been before moving around the corner.
According to a tweet from @FortPointer, a sign is now up for Jibei Chuan on Beach Street, with the storefront being where Quic Pic BBQ was until it relocated to Harrison Avenue. The sign out front for Jibei Chuan says "fish maw rice noodle," though very little is known about what exactly they will be serving at this point in time. (Fish maw is the dried swim bladders of larger fish.)
The address for the upcoming Jibei Chuan is 50 Beach Street, Boston, MA, 02111.
