It looks like the newest location of a group of brewpubs may have shut down after being in business for only a few months.
According to a source, Wachusett Brew Yard in the Harvard Square section of Cambridge has closed, with a check on the website for Wachusett Brewing Company indicating that the Cambridge location has been removed from the locations dropdown menu while the Westminster and Worcester outlets are still shown. Messages sent to the company last week have not been returned, but if we do hear back from them with more information on the closure, we will post an update here.
Wachusett Brew Yard first opened in the former John Harvard's Brewery and Ale House space within The Garage in Harvard Square last November.
