The people behind a food truck known in part for its fried chicken sandwiches have opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant on the North Shore.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Walloon's is now open in Swampscott, moving into a space on Essex Street across from the high school. A Facebook post within the Swampscott Nest group page shows pictures of the restaurant's menus, with items such as chicken sandwiches, wings, tenders, empanadas, chimis, quesadillas, Dominican hot dogs, and more offered.
The address for the new location of Walloon's in Swampscott is 197 Essex Street, Swampscott, MA, 01907.
