A brand new Vietnamese dining spot is getting ready to debut in Dorchester.
According to an article in the Dorchester Reporter, Huong Que is going to be opening in Fields Corner, moving into a space on Adams Street a couple of blocks southeast of Dorchester Avenue that had been home to My Sister's Crawfish. The post says that the 48-seat restaurant will have a menu that "appeals to Vietnamese, Vietnamese-Americans, and Americans alike," with owner Vu Huynh indicating that he wants it to have the feel of a community space, saying that "I want everyone to be able to eat here, and when I say that, I mean it....You hungry, but can't pay? Come and eat, and bring the money tomorrow...I have a warm heart, I like to share with friends. It's how I was raised."
If all goes as planned, Huong Que will open its doors by the end of the month.
The address for Huong Que in Fields Corner is 272 Adams Street, Dorchester, MA, 02122. Its website will be at https://huongquevietnameserestaurant.business.site/
[October 1 update: According to its website, Huong Que is now open.]
