A California-based group of fast-casual Mediterranean restaurants has expanded to downtown Boston.
According to a message sent by Adam Castiglioni of the Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog, Hummus Republic is now open at the corner of Franklin Street and Batterymarch Street in the city's Financial District, with the website for the business confirming this, showing that it joins a handful of locations in California along with one outlet in New Jersey. The menu for the dining spot includes build-your-own wraps, pita pockets, and bowls with options such as couscous, garbanzo beans, several hummus options, chicken shawarma, falafel, steak strips, mushroom shawarma, tabbouleh, crumbled feta, fried eggplant, and more.
Hummus Republic, which is headquartered in West Hills, started out in 2013 and is now looking to expand through franchised locations, with upcoming outlets on their way to California, New Jersey, and Virginia.
The address for the new Hummus Republic in the Financial District is 274 Franklin Street, Boston, MA, 02110. The website for the business can be found at https://www.thehummusrepublic.com/
