A brand new Asian restaurant and bar is coming to the North Shore, and it will be taking over the space that had been home to a short-lived dining and drinking spot.
According to a source, J and J Asian Cuisine and Lounge is planning to open in Danvers, moving into the former TaVern at 156 Restaurant & Bar Space space on Andover Street. A Facebook post from the We Are Danvers community page confirms this, though no specifics have been given on the upcoming spot as of yet, so stay tuned for updates as they come in.
The TaVern at 156 Restaurant & Bar first opened last June, with the people behind the place including the co-owners of Tuckaway Tavern and Butchery, a popular restaurant, bar, and butcher shop in Raymond, NH.
