A North Shore restaurant known in part for its breakfast dishes and comfort food items has said farewell.
According to an article from the Saugus Advertiser and Wicked Local, Bistro's in Saugus has been sold, with a Facebook post from the Lincoln Avenue spot saying the following:
It is with a sad heart that we inform you that we will not be returning to Bistro's after our vacation....We did our best to offer high quality food and great prices. Unfortunately our expectations were not being met especially during the pandemic. We will carry each of you in our hearts.
It appears that a new restaurant will be moving in, as the post asks customers to "support the new owners" of the space.
Bistro's first opened in the spring of 2018, offering such items as waffles, French toast, omelets, burgers, wings, quesadillas, club sandwiches, pasta dishes, and ribs.
The address for the now-closed Bistro's was 240 Lincoln Avenue, Saugus, MA, 01906.
