A restaurant and bar in the heart of downtown Boston that burst out of the gates to much fanfare when it first opened 10 years ago is seeing the return of one of the people involved in its opening.
According to a licensing board hearing page within the city's website, Kevin Mabry is taking over as manager of jm Curley, with a message from him telling us that he will be a managing partner of the Temple Place spot. Mabry, who helped open the place around the end of 2011, was the bar manager/beverage director during the time in which jm Curley received all kinds of accolades, and Mabry himself was included in The Daily Meal's list of best bartenders in the country in 2014.
The address for jm Curley (along with Bogie's place, which is a "speakeasy" steakhouse within the space) is 21 Temple Place, Boston, MA, 02111. Its website can be found at https://www.jmcurleyboston.com/[A related post from our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants): List of Restaurant Closings and Openings in the Boston Area]
