A pair of cafes in Somerville and Worcester known for their healthy options will be expanding to the North Shore.
According to an article in The Daily News, NU Kitchen is opening a new location in Newburyport, taking over the space on Pleasant Street that had been home to Thai Lily Kitchen, and before that, Szechuan Taste. Based on the other two outlets, expect to see soups, salads, sandwiches, grain bowls, smoothies, and more at the upcoming location, with at least part of the focus being on vegan and gluten-free options.
If all goes as planned, Nu Kitchen could debut in Newburyport sometime in the late fall or early winter.
The address for the upcoming location of Nu Kitchen is 19 Pleasant Street, Newburyport, MA, 01950. The website for the Somerville and Worcester locations can be found at https://www.thenukitchen.com/
