Pho Hoa Is Opening in the Former Jack's Ristorante/Ferrari's Space in Malden

A new Vietnamese with a familiar name is on its way to Malden.

According to a source (Aron Levy), Pho Hoa is planning to open on Eastern Avenue, taking over the space that had been home to Jack's Ristorante, and before that, Ferrari's. A meeting minutes page within the city's website indicates that the upcoming eatery has an indirect connection to Pho Hoa in Dorchester, as Duong Le, who is the proposed manager of the place, is the brother of the owner of the location on Dorchester Avenue near Fields Corner. One interesting note is that a location of Pho Hoa had once been located on Pleasant Street in Malden and it also had a family connection to the Dorchester location, while two other locations had once been located in Boston's Chinatown and in Quincy.

The address for the new location of Pho Hoa in Malden is 655 Eastern Avenue, Malden, MA, 02148.

[December 15 update: according to a source (Geoff Wong), Pho Hoa is now open.]
