An American Chinese restaurant featuring roasted duck, tiki drinks, and more is on its way to Cambridge, and the people behind it come from a couple of well-known dining spots.
According to an article from Eater Boston, Jason Doo (Menton) and Thomas Brush (Felipe's Taqueria) are teaming up to open Wusong Road in the space in Harvard Square that had previously been home to Les Sablons. The post says that the restaurant, which will be inside the historic Conductor's Building between Mount Auburn Street and Bennett Street, will have a brick oven on the first floor that is geared toward roasting ducks, while the second floor will be what Doo describes as a "100-seat American Chinese-style restaurant with heavy tropical escapism decor that has been heavily influenced by the Chinese Dai people." If all goes as planned, Wusong Road will open in mid-November.
Les Sablons, which closed in 2018 after being in business for a bit more than a year, was known in part for its French-influenced dishes and cocktails.
