A new dining spot is on its way to Cambridge, taking over the space where a family-friendly and affordable New American restaurant had been.
According to an article in Cambridge Day, An Sibin is planning to open in the Inman Square space that had been home to Richards until this spring. The post says that the proposed Cambridge Street eatery is looking to have the feel of a speakeasy with "a little bit more Americana, and have less of the Irishness," and that it may offer soups and sandwiches along with craft cocktails.
Richards first opened about a half year before the pandemic took hold in the Boston area and elsewhere; the space had also been home to Tex Mex Eats and Tupelo.
The address for the upcoming An Sibin is 1193 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA, 02139.
