A group of tapas restaurants known in part for their wine offerings will be opening a third Boston-area location, with this one moving into a space in Cambridge that has been home to an upscale bistro.
According to an article from Cambridge Day, Barcelona Wine Bar is looking to open on Mass. Ave. in the Temple Bar space between Porter Square and Harvard Square, with the new location joining outlets in Boston's South End and Brookline's Washington Square area along with others in a handful of states, including several in Connecticut. Based on the other locations, expect to find a variety of Spanish and Mediterranean small plates offered at the Cambridge restaurant along with full meals, a long list of wines, and beer and cocktails.
If all goes as planned, the new location of Barcelona could be opening in late February or early March of 2022.
