A small group of upscale convenience stores and cafes may be expanding to Boston.
The Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog is reporting (via The Boston Sun) that Foxtrot is looking to open in the Back Bay, taking over the space on Boylston Street that had been home to a location of Pret A Manger. The posts say that the new spot would include a retail grocery store that would be on one side of the space, selling such options as food items made by local restaurants, baked goods, beer, and wine, while the cafe area would be located on the other side of the space. If all goes as planned, the new location of Foxtrot could be opening in the spring of 2022.
Foxtrot initially started out as a delivery business in Chicago and now has stores in that city as well as Washington, DC, and Dallas.
The address for the upcoming location of Foxtrot in the Back Bay is 501 Boylston Street, Boston, MA, 02116. The website for the company is at https://foxtrotco.com/
