A dining spot with a familiar name is on its way to Brighton, and it will reside within a senior living complex that focuses on supportive and affordable housing.
Based on information from an email and a phone call, In House Cafe is getting ready to open on the ground floor of the Weinberg House on Chestnut Hill Avenue, with the eatery offering affordable dine-in and to-go options while also including an area with outdoor seating along with lobby seating indoors. The dining spot is being seen as a connector space between the residents of the campus (which is part of the 2Life Communities organization) and the public, being an "open and welcoming space" for both diners outside of the complex and those who live there.
The restaurant will be run by Ahmed Dairy, who was behind the now-closed eatery by the same name in Allston.
The address for the upcoming In House Cafe in Brighton is 132 Chestnut Hill Avenue, Brighton, MA, 02135.
