A longtime seafood restaurant in the western suburbs of Boston is shutting down and a new dining spot is replacing it.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Dolphin Seafood in Natick is closing its doors, with a Patch article saying that the Washington Street spot is shuttering at the end of December. In the article, Dolphin owner Peter Giannacopoulos says that a new restaurant called 7 South Bottle + Kitchen will be opening within the space in 2022, though few details have been given about that place at this point in time.
Dolphin Seafood is known for such seafood dishes as steamed lobster, fried clam strips, fish and chips, calamari, seafood casserole, grilled salmon, and more.
The address for Dolphin Seafood (and 7 South Bottle + Kitchen) is 12 Washington Street, Natick, MA, 01760. The website for 7 South Bottle + Kitchen is at https://7southbk.com/ while its Facebook page is at https://www.facebook.com/7-South-Bottle-Kitchen-105274215372155/
[June 23, 2022 update: A post from the Natick Report mentions that 7 South Bottle + Kitchen is now open for dinner service, and that it offers comfort food, beer, and cocktails based on the article and the restaurant's Facebook page.]
