A decades-old fish market on the North Shore has shut down.
According to a source (and confirmed by a Patch article), Rowand Fisheries is no longer in business, with a Facebook post from the Cabot Street shop saying "To our loyal customers; Our friends at CaliBasil Vietnamese Eatery in Beverly will now be honoring our gift cards for us. You may redeem any remaining balance at 55 Dodge St A- 260, Beverly, MA 01915." Rowand Fisheries first opened more than 60 years ago, offering a variety of options including rainbow trout, haddock, lobsters, swordfish, tuna, salmon, catfish, mussels, oysters, scallops, shrimp, and frozen meals such as lobster mac and cheese, seafood pie, stuffed clams, and crab cakes.
The address for Rowand Fisheries was 2 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA, 01915.
