Nearly three years after it was first announced, a group of upscale chophouses has officially expanded to Boston.
According to a tweet from @DTownBostonBID, Wolfgang's Steakhouse is now open on Washington Street, moving into a space at One Boston Place by the northern edge of Downtown Crossing. As mentioned in an earlier article, the new restaurant offers a mix of steak, chops, and seafood options along with an extensive wine list, and the person behind it is Wolfgang Zwiener, who worked more than 40 years at the original Peter Luger Steak House in Brooklyn. Initial plans for the Boston location of Wolfgang's Steakhouse date back to the spring of 2019.
Other locations of Wolfgang's Steakhouse can be found in New York, New Jersey, and Hawaii along with a handful of others in Asia.
