A Cambridge beer hall is being reborn with what appears to be a slightly different concept.
According to a source, Beat Brew Hall in Harvard Square is planning to reopen, with a note on its website saying "BEAT HALL IS (RE)OPENING SOON! All New & Better Than Ever!" The website also mentions that it will be a "tequila, bourbon & beer-focused, taco, rib & burger-slinging honky-tonk in the heart of Harvard Square" and it will focus on American, Southwest, and Mexican street food" while also featuring live music within the space.
Beat Brew Hall debuted in September of 2018, replacing Beat Brasserie; both places were run by the team behind The Beehive and Cosmica in Boston's South End.
The address for the Beat Brew Hall is 13A Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA, 02138. Its website can be found at https://www.beatbrewhall.com/
[May 5 update: A source tells us that Beat Brew Hall opens back up today, with a Facebook post from the place confirming this.]
