A Chinese restaurant on the North Shore is shutting down, though the people behind it will continue to run a nearby dining spot.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Yan's China Bistro in Swampscott closes its doors today, with a note out front referring customers to Fantasy Island in Salem. It is not yet known if any of the dishes from Yan's will be offered at Fantasy Island; if we get any information on this, we will post an update here.
Yan's China Bistro first opened 16 years ago, offering Chinese and Polynesian fare along with Southeast Asian cuisine.
The address for Yan's China Bistro is 146 Humphrey Street, Swampscott, MA, 01907, while the address for Fantasy Island is 516 Loring Avenue, Salem, MA, 01970.
