Donut Villa Is Opening in the Former Brewer's Coalition Space in Newtonville

A pair of diners known for their donuts is expanding to a third location, and this one may be more of a restaurant and bar.

According to a post within the jobs section of the site, Donut Villa is planning to open in Newtonville, with the address given indicating that it will apparently be taking over the space on Walnut Street that had been home to Brewer's Coalition before it closed earlier this year. The job post mentions that it will be a "brunch club and bar" while a public hearing notice states that the upcoming spot plans to acquire a full liquor license and operate as a restaurant.

The original Donut Villa Diner first opened in Malden more than 40 years ago, while a second location in Cambridge's Central Square opened in the spring of 2021.
