A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that an award-winning suburban restaurant known for its Israeli food had closed for the foreseeable future. Now we have learned that a new concept under the same ownership will be taking over the space.
According to a Facebook post, Smoke & Fire is planning to open in the Simcha space in Sharon, with the logo for the place indicating that it will have a wood oven and will offer burgers, BBQ, seafood, and cocktails. Owner Avi Shemtov confirms in the thread that it will indeed be moving into the Simcha space, while other posts from him hint that it is not out of the question that Simcha could return in another location at some point.
Simcha first opened back in March of 2019.
The address for the upcoming Smoke & Fire (and the former location of Simcha) is 370 South Main Street, Sharon, MA, 02067.
