A brand new chicken spot is on its way to Malden, and it has a connection to another restaurant in the downtown area.
According to a source, BAM BAM Fried Chicken is planning to open in the former Dunkin' space at the corner of Florence Street and Pleasant Street, with the people behind District Kitchen (which is in the same building) also being behind the place. A tweet from Malden Mayor Gary Christenson shows this, saying that "The owners of District Kitchen are introducing a new kind of fried chicken: BAM BAM Fried Chicken," though no specific details have been given as of yet.
District Kitchen is a Chinese fusion restaurant that first opened its doors in 2017.
The address for BAM BAM Fried Chicken is 2 Florence Street, Malden, MA, 02148. Its website will be at https://www.bambamchicken.com/
[November 18 update: An Instagram comment from the place indicates that BAM BAM Fried Chicken plans to open later this month or in early December.]
[December 19 update: A message sent from Richard Auffrey of The Passionate Foodie indicates that BAM BAM Fried Chicken is now open.]
