A bakery and pastry shop in downtown Boston that is known for its cakes has shut down.
Universal Hub confirms what a source told us earlier, that Eldo Cake House in the city's Chinatown neighborhood is no longer in business, with a tweet from @darrylljfernald showing a "For Rent" sign in the window of the Harrison Avenue place along with a "For Sale" sign. In addition to cakes, Eldo Cake House also offered such options as tarts, buns, baos, breads, smoothies, and tea.
The address for the now-closed Eldo Cake House in Chinatown was 36 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA, 02111.
