It looks like a deli that debuted approximately five years ago has very quietly shut its doors.
According to a source, Our Fathers in Allston is no longer in business and its sign has been taken down while its space has been cleared out other than its booths, and a call placed to the N Harvard Street dining spot indicates that its phone number is no longer in service. The deli, which first opened toward the end of 2017, was part of the Franklin Restaurant Group (Franklin Cafe, Citizen Public House and Oyster Bar, Tasty Burger) and featured such items as corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, matzo ball soup, falafel, potato salad, knishes, cheesecake, and more.
It is not known if Our Fathers might open back up at some point, either in its present location or in a new space; if we find out any additional information, we will post an update here.
The address for the now-closed Our Fathers was 197 N Harvard Street, Allston, MA, 02134.
