A new bakery-cafe is on its way to the western suburbs of Boston.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Mister Monut is planning to open in Waltham, with a Waltham Channel post indicating that it will move into a space on Main Street near where it meets Prospect Street. A job post within the Glassdoor site mentions that it will be a "brand new, fast-paced bakery concept" that "will be serving Asian themed [desserts]."
The address for Mister Monut is 873 Main Street, Waltham, MA, 02451.
[January 26, 2023 update: According to a source (Aron Levy), Mister Monut is now open in Waltham, with a new post from The Waltham Channel saying "The new bakery serves delicious and unique fusion pastries: mochi donuts and kroffles,...a croissant / waffle hybrid....There's no coffee yet, but it's coming.."]
