Omar's Bistro Opens in Lexington

The people behind a comic book shop and video game lounge in the northwest suburbs have opened a dining spot within the space.

An email sent to us indicates that Omar's Bistro is now open in Lexington, and it shares its space with Omar's World of Comics and Hobbies and Pixel Paradise on Waltham Street. A Lexington Observer article mentions that Omar Masood, who has Down syndrome, opened the comic book store in 2018 while his sister Laila Masood opened the gaming part of the business last year. The article states that the Masood family has used Omar's World of Comics and Hobbies and Pixel Paradise to help create job opportunities for those enrolled in the LABBB Program which helps students with special needs, and the restaurant will further help by creating additional jobs.

The menu for Omar's Bistro includes such items as burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, falafel, avocado eggrolls, pizza, fries, donuts, and bread pudding.

The address for Omar's Bistro is 20 Waltham Street, Lexington, MA, 02421. Its website can be found at https://omarsbistro.com/
