A Washington, D.C.-based group of fast-casual Mediterranean spots continues its expansion plans through the local area, with a new one now being planned for the heart of Boston.
According to a tweet from @FortPointer, Cava is planning to open on Summer Street in the downtown area of the city, with a post from downtownboston.org confirming this. Once it opens, the new outlet will join others in the Fenway and Back Bay (2), Cambridge's Kendall Square, Dedham, Hingham, and Woburn, and locations in Harvard Square and Framingham are in the works as well.
Cava, which was established in 2011, is mostly known for its customizable bowls and pita pockets.
The address for the new location of Cava in downtown Boston is 125 Summer Street, Boston, MA, 02111. The website for all locations is at https://cava.com/
[May 2 update: A tweet from @DTownBostonBID indicates that the new Cava in downtown Boston is now open.]
