A longtime Thai restaurant located just off Route 128 is shutting down.
An article from the Daily Voice that was posted onto the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page indicates that Green Papaya in Waltham is shutting down, with a note on the website for the Winter Street spot indicating that the owners are retiring and plan to close the restaurant after business hours on June 25. Green Papaya first opened 30 years ago in the Reservoir Plaza, offering classic Thai dishes including a number of vegetarian options.
