A chain of sushi restaurants is planning to open either its second or third location in the local area, depending on the timing of the opening.
According to its website, Kura Sushi is planning to open a new outlet in Framingham, with a map within the sitecenters.com site indicating that it will be moving into a space at Shoppers World. Once it opens, the new location of the dining spot will join another at Arsenal Yards in Watertown, while one is also in the works at South Bay in Dorchester.
Kura Sushi, which started out in Japan in 1977, features conveyor belt sushi in which food items move by each table, allowing diners to choose what they want as the food goes by. The website for the chain is at https://kurasushi.com/
[June 28 update: According to a press release, Kura Sushi is now open.]
