Hing Shing Pastry in Chinatown Is Closing

It looks like a decades-old bakery in Boston's Chinatown neighborhood is shutting down.

According to a post from @jgmahoney, Hing Shing Pastry on Beach Street is closing its doors, saying that it shutters this weekend, and this was also mentioned in a Reddit thread with one poster saying that the owners are retiring. Hing Shing Pastry is known for such items as almond cookies, moon cakes, cream sponge cake, egg custard buns, sesame balls, and coconut snowballs.

The address for Hing Shing Pastry in Chinatown is 67 Beach Street, Boston, MA, 02111.

[October 4 update: Multiple sources have confirmed that Hing Shing Pastry is now closed.]
