Moxies Opens in Boston's Seaport District

A Canadian chain of casual upscale restaurants has opened its first New England location on the Boston waterfront.

According to a press release, Moxies opens this evening in the city's Seaport District, moving into the Ora luxury apartment building on Congress Street. The restaurant offers modern American fare with global influences and a variety of seafood dishes, as well as an extensive cocktail list. The Moxies chain, which was established in Calgary in the 1980s and is now headquartered in Vancouver, has a handful of locations in Arizona, Florida, and Texas, with this being its first outlet in the Northeast.
