Earlier this year, it was reported that a South Shore brewery was looking to expand to Boston, and the new location is now up and running.
According to its website (and as mentioned in an earlier article here), Widowmaker Brewing is open in Brighton, moving into the former Brato space on N Beacon Street. The new outlet, which joins its original on Wood Road in Braintree, is basically in the midst of a soft opening, with its grand opening taking place on Saturday, October 28, and unlike its Braintree location which uses food trucks and also allows patrons to bring in their own food, the Brighton spot has a full kitchen (which is run by Bone & Bread) that offers such options as salads, tacos, sandwiches, ramen, and more.
