An old-school food shop in the heart of Boston that is known for its cheeses, cold cuts, olives, breads, and specialty items is getting ready to shut down.
According to a Threads post from @fortpointer, Harry's Cheese and Cold Cuts on Blackstone Street by Haymarket Square is closing its doors, as the owner is planning to retire, while a Facebook post from the business says that its last day is slated to be December 23. The shop, which has been in business for more than 40 years, offers a wide variety of imported and domestic cheese along with Italian cold cuts, and offers samples of the cheeses for customers to try.
The address for Harry's Cheese and Cold Cuts is 98 Blackstone Street, Boston, MA, 02109.
[December 18 update: A couple of Facebook posts from the place indicate that Harry's Cheese and Cold Cuts is now closed, having shut down earlier than previously thought due to low inventory.]
